Mousery

Not long ago, my partner and I were discussing how much I hated cleaning my old wire cages, as seen in the rather old mousery shot here:

So, we decided to look at making our own enclosures - tubs, to be specific. They were easy to a million times easier to clean, disinfect in the case of parasites or disease, and customise for the joy of my mice! So we hunted around for the perfect tub and made these:

Every time I clean the cages, or find new toys (or things that can be used as toys) the decor changes, but the general principle is the same. The more space I can create for the mice to climb on, hide in and run through, the better. It's all about the mouses! :D
