Agouti Fox Longcoat Rex

11th April 2006: Baaaabies! I haven't poked around in there yet, but from peeking into the house, there seems to be about 7 or 8 babies. I only saw black eyed, and would expect that most, if not all, will be. Babies will be rex or double rex, and possible colours include agouti, black, blue agouti, blue, cinnamon and chocolate - depending on what genes Aria inherited from her dad (her dad being Samson - ooh, incest! :P). We should see some stunning coats in this litter. I already have a bunch of reservations - mostly for agouti females.

16th April 2006: Quick update on the bubs. All are beautiful and healthy, pigment is starting to come through and it looks like we have a black, 4 agouti based and 2 paler colours which may be chinchilla. It also looks like we have mostly boys :/ But I will stay judgement until we see nipples in a little while.

20th April 2006: Unfortunately Aria decided that she couldn't cope with 7 babies, and has culled two :( The black baby, and the agouti baby are no more (nooo! not my agouti!). We still have:

2 x pale males (poss. chinchilla or lilac)
1 x blueish fox/tan male (poss. blue agouti)
1 x chocolate fox/tan male
1 x blue fox/tan female

At the moment I am looking at keeping the blue female, the blueish male and one of the pale males - but all expressions of interest still welcome. I'm also not 100% on sexes at this point, the bubs are quite small and their nipples are being elusive!

29th April 2006: Here's the little possible blue agouti boy that I'm keeping. Ain't he just adorable??

19th May 2006: It's a bit late, but here are a bunch of nice, in-focus pictures of the kids! At this point I want to keep them all! They're just so adorable. We'll see.
